My 10 Best Purchases of 2019 That Were Worth Every Penny

I started reflecting on what I’ve bought (so far) this year, and of them what has made my life easier. From spending late nights searching on Amazon (because let’s be honest, Amazon has everything); to scrolling through my favorite shopping websites while looking for beauty products, denim shorts, and sandals. As I was sitting at brunch the other day, chatting with friends and the topic of new purchases came up these are the products that came to mind because they’ve given me value or happiness, or both. Here are my 10 best purchases of 2019 that I recommend to my friends over and over again.Read More →

45 Unique Mother’s Day Gift Ideas That She‘s Bound To Love

Since I moved to L.A. I rarely get to spend Mother’s Day with my mom because she lives on the opposite side of the country. This year however, we’ll be celebrating it a week later while we’re both vacationing in Phoenix. 20 20 Tips for Dealing with Stress

April is national stress awareness month, so I thought it was only fitting that we discuss various aspects of coping with it, and getting aligned with the universe. In the past I didn’t have the healthiest ways of dealing with stress and learning new approaches didn’t happen overnight. As bizarre as it may sound, it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I learned to live in the moment. I used to spend my time thinking about the past and worrying about the future. When I moved to California, I became much more in touch with my spiritual self and that has led me to maintain aRead More →

How To Use A Planner Effectively

This past December I did something different to help me stay organized. I purchased a planner, along with stickers, gel pens, sticky notes, and colorful accessories. It brought me back to my childhood when I’d pick one out each August as I anticipated the first day of school. As January 1st approached, I began by decorating the pages and filling in the important dates. Looking back, the last time I did this was about ten years ago. I had gotten into the routine of using a calendar app on my phone, or typing relevant info into my notes and reminders. I had thought about creatingRead More →

Sugarfina Valentine's Day Charcuterie Board

I have an enormous sweet tooth so I look for any excuse to indulge in sugar. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I thought about various ways to celebrate, other than the typical cookies and cupcakes. Also, February 14th my boyfriend Billy and I will be celebrating our 3 year anniversary so we’ll combine the two for a day of sweet treats. This year I chose to create a candy charcuterie board complete with our favorite candy from Sugarfina, and our favorite French imported chocolates from Le chocolat des Francais. I love this colorful concept since it’s so simple to make and it canRead More →
